DoubleFeature App Update
Today we release DoubleFeature 1.2 for the iPad! This new version adds a bunch of frequently requested features, including:
- The option to be notified when new issues are released!
- Faster page flipping when tapping in the margins.
- More obvious “go back to the title screen” button. It’s now called “Done” and is on the left side of the toolbar.
We’ve also included a fun new feature: each story now has a selection of hi-res art perfectly sized to fit the lock- or home-screen of your iPad! Just click the “picture” button on the toolbar to see a list of images you can save to your photo library to use as wallpaper.
Letdown by 2011? Let DoubleFeature entertain you while waiting for your flying car.

Excellent Communities and “The Daily”
Marcus Zarra, a developer of “The Daily”, has written a blog post decrying what he perceives as “a disturbing trend” of negativity in the developer community since The Daily’s release.
As an iOS developer and one of the bloggers who criticized “The Daily” upon its release I feel compelled to say a few words on this.
